WEEKLY POEM FOR HUMANITY: WE ARE NEAR

“When you breathe the air

We enter your heart

And you have been with Us

Right from the start.

It is not because your body came to be born

That away from Us you were torn.

You are always One in Our embrace

Even if you take on a different face.

Faces as diverse as the human race

But in all of your hearts is Our place.

So, when the sun rises in the dawn,

The tapestry of life We spawn,

So intricate in golden thread

For all who are alive and all who are dead.

So, don’t be sad that We are far

Because when you call to Us in the morning hour

We light you up like a blazing sun

So that, through your day, Our work is done.
